I have been involved in the fashion industry as long as I can remember. I had my first boutique when I was 23 and at 24, my husband Kevin Smith and I began Adobe Apparel, a top fashion label in New Zealand selling to all the top NZ fashion houses, as well as our own two retail store in the Bay of Islands.

Education was a natural progress from tutor to Academic Director of NZ Fashion Tech. I get a huge kick out of seeing our students grow and become successful in their field.
