I originally came into fashion to assist Val, who was running a beach side boutique in the Bay of Island on her own. As the business grew into an extensive retail / wholesale fashion company, I had to up-skill as a designer / pattern maker and employer.

When we moved to Auckland, both of us were quickly employed in fashion education. It's an exciting and very satisfying area to be working in and I am proud of NZ Fashion Tech's contribution to our industry.

The right attitude and skills will give you a lifetime career, which is as flexible and rewarding as you will ever dream of.
