After successfully completing her programme with NZ Fashion Tech Olivia now holds a senior position at Starfish Interiors.

Bodie Thompson

Bodie works with boutique fashion designer, Helen Ryan as her production assistant and pattern maker. Bodie completed a Diploma with NZ Fashion Tech which gave him the required skills for such a demanding position.

Elizabeth Reed

Following work experience during her Diploma programme, Elizabeth secured a senior position at Sterling Cutters, one of the countries leading computerised cutting, fashion software and pattern making companies, serving the New Zealand fashion industry.

Sali Hafeedh

After completing a university degree in fashion design, Sali decided to come to NZ Fashion Tech to gain the high level of competence in practical core-skills she felt were key to a successful career in the fashion industry..

Nathen Foulagi

After considering fashion programmes with universities and other providers, Nathen chose to study at NZFT and successfully completed the Diploma Programme in Fashion Technology. Shortly after graduating he started his career in the Fashion Industry and is now working in a key role at Sera Lilly.

Stephanie Mills

She successfully graduated from the Diploma Programme and now holds a senior position at Woodhouse Apparel, where she is the manager of the Huffer account amongst other roles

Ursula Adams

Ursula studied and graduated from the Diploma Programme as a mature student. After a successful Student Fashion Show and work placements, Immediately after graduating, Ursula successfully gained employment in the fashion industry with the Judith Anne Ford label.

Roleen Botha

Roleen learnt about NZFT through her careers advisor. She completed the Certificates in Garment Technology and Pattern Making before taking a break with the arrival of her first child. She returned to NZFT to complete the Diploma in Fashion Technology and was offered a full time skilled position at Hot Ice Marketing after her work experience placement.

Dennis Sayat

Dennis studied at NZFT on the Diploma Programme as an International Student. Dennis's main focus was in couture and high fashion after experience in the fashion industry whilst living in the Philippines. After graduating, Dennis successful started his career with a full-time job offer after completing work experience as a pattern designer and maker.

Sara Macdougall-Unwin

Sara learnt about NZFT during a school visit and knew instantly that the programme was for her. She is a Diploma Programme graduate and is now the Sales Coordinator at Designer Textiles, a company specialising in merino fabrics and garments.

NZ Fashion Tech Programmes

Our helpful, caring and supportive tutorial staff have years of valuable industry experience to share.

We use a process of step by step learning, blending industry specific skills, communication, work and study skills. An average ratio of 17 student's per tutor, allowing for the individual learning needs of students.

A key component to our programmes is our requirement for compulsory work experience placement for students. This is a valuable introduction to the industry and often leads to employment opportunities - Take a look at our success stories for examples of this in action.

Over 270 graduates have been placed in full time employment in the last 2 years.

NZ Fashion Tech is considered one of the best technical trainers in the country by Competenz previously the Apparel and Textile Industry Training Organisation (ATITO). Our highly sought after Certificates and Diploma are backed by NZQA National Qualifications.
